Al Bidāyah – The Beginning

Bismillāh

Assalāmu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullāhi wa barakātuh, dear sisters!

Welcome, welcome! I’m so happy you’ve found this little corner of the internet. May Allāh make it a source of benefit, barakah, and closeness to Him — āmeen.

Fīhā Barakah is a blog I created to reflect on what it means to live as a Muslimah today, and how we can seek the barakah of Allāh in our everyday lives. From our worship and routines, to our friendships, learning, struggles, and even our quiet moments — there is barakah to be found, and I pray this space becomes a reminder of that.

I’m not a scholar or a teacher. I’m just your sister — walking this path, stumbling sometimes, getting up again, and trying to hold tightly to the Rope of Allāh (حبل الله). Like you, I’m learning. I’m growing. And this blog is my way of sharing bits of that journey with you.

You’ll find reflections from personal experiences, lessons from Islamic classes or reminders I’ve come across, heartfelt thoughts, and gentle advice — the kind of words I wish someone had said to me at certain points in my life. The kind of words I still need to hear.

This isn’t a space for unrealistic expectations or curated perfection. You won’t find polished highlight reels here. Instead, you’ll find honesty, softness, and a sincere desire to improve — little by little, day by day, together in shaa’ Allāh.

Whether you’re here to read, reflect, or just feel a little less alone — I’m so happy to have you.

With love always,
Your sister, Barakah
